File:Atari-5200-4-Port-Opened-FL.jpg

Original file(5,680 × 3,280 pixels, file size: 5.07 MB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Description The Atari 5200 with the top casing removed. A gaming system released by Atari in 1982, it was Atari's follow-up to the very successful 2600. The 5200 was a larger, more powerful system that was based on the Atari 8-bit 400/800 computer line. It did not fare well in the market, due to Atari's and the gaming market's collapse in 1983. Of note is that this system is an original 4-port version. The system would later be released with only two controller ports.
