Original file(2,520 × 2,340 pixels, file size: 1.94 MB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Description The red light accessory for the Action Max video game console. Released in 1987 by Worlds of Wonder, it was a console that worked in conjunction with a VCR to play light gun "games". Games came on VHS tapes and were on-rails shooters that featured no real interactive elements. The console merely kept track of how many hits were scored during the game, utilizing an external red light to alert players to successful hits.
