Summary
| Description | Once we were on top of the mountain, crowds at the mouth of the cave meant we had to wait to enter. That also meant plenty of time to stand and stare! This is a beautiful view of the Ha Long Bay from the high point of the climb up to the Sung Sot cave. Note that all the large cruise boats are parked at a distance. One has to transfer to a smaller feeder boat like the one in the foreground to get to the base of the Sung Sot mountain. (Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, Nov. 2016) |
