Cookbook:Baked Brie in Puff Pastry
This dish is perfect for your next dinner party. To reheat, place in an aluminum foil pouch and warm in a 200° oven.
- 1 10-ounce block Brie cheese, rind removed and brought to room temperature
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- Place block of cheese in the middle of sheet of pastry. Trim off about 1/2 inch and fold pastry over cheese, and when you reach the last fold, brush with beaten egg. Fold and brush top with egg and bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and serve.
