Deuterated tetrahydrofuran ((C4D8)O), is a form (called a isotopologues) of THF ((C4H8)O) in which the hydrogen atom ("H") is replaced with deuterium (heavy hydrogen) isotope ("D"). Deuterated THF is a rarely used as a solvent in NMR spectroscopy due to its expense.
