Description:
This is a weedy little plant that doesn't grow more than a couple of feet tall. The flower always looks as if most of the petals have been plucked out around the top, but that's just the way the flower always looks. The leaves sprout from around the center of the plant at ground level, while the flowers are found at the end of the long stems.

Quick Facts:
This is another plant that is not native to North America, though it has been growing here for a long time. By the time of the American Revolution, the Cherokee Indians had been using English Plantain in medicines for over a hundred years.
