Template documentationUsage
- Before you protect a user talk page, consider whether amending their block to prohibit editing the page would be more effective.
- Use {{pp-usertalk}} for the normal template
- Use {{pp-usertalk|user=username}} to specify another user
- Use {{pp-usertalk|reason=because ...}} to replace the user links with a more appropriate reason
- Use {{pp-usertalk|expiry=May 29, 2013}} for a specific expiration date
- Use {{pp-usertalk|small=yes}} for just an icon at the top
- Use {{pp-usertalk|expiry={{subst:#time:F j, Y|+7 days}}}} for a specific expiration time period
Note that (UTC) will be added automatically.
This template is not to be used as a bluff. Only use it on FULLY PROTECTED pages. Please note that only administrators can protect pages.
- This template will categorize into Category:Protected user and user talk pages.
