This template creates conditional Wikibook / Wikipedia links. If the given Wikibook article exists, the link will appear as a link to the native Wikibook article. If the given Wikibook article does not exist, the template displays a Wikipedia link with the same name instead.
Usage edit
One parameter format displays the Wiki link with a leading w:
- {{lw|Cookbook:recipes}} generates Cookbook:recipes
- {{lw|Unknown}} generates w:Unknown
Two parameter format displays the Wiki link as a native link (no leading w: displayed):
- {{lw|Cookbook:recipes|}} generates Wikibook link Cookbook:recipes
- {{lw|Unknown|}} generates Wikipedia link Unknown
- If the Wikibook page "Unknown" were to be created, Wikipedia Unknown was {{lw|Unknown|}}'s previous function.
