Template:Category title/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Category title (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories, and other content that are not part of the original template page.

This template can be used to create proper category titles, both if the name space was omitted or supplied by the user.

It is primarily of use in templates and should not be used in pages directly.

Usage

  • "{{Category title| Food }}" → "Category:Food"
  • "{{Category title| Category:Food }}" → "Category:Food"
  • "{{Category title| :Category:Food }}" → "Category:Food"
