Template:BOOKTEMPLATE/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:BOOKTEMPLATE (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories, and other content that are not part of the original template page.

This template generates  Template:{{ROOTBOOKNAME}}  which is a conventional name for the current book's main template, and a conventional prefix for the names of its other templates.

Usage

  • For book  Wikijunior:Languages, the book's main template would be called Template:Wikijunior:Languages, and could be called using syntax of the form  {{{{BOOKTEMPLATE}}|...}}.
  • Other templates of book  Wikijunior:Languages  would have names of the form  Template:Wikijunior:Languages/Foo, and could be called using syntax of the form  {{{{BOOKTEMPLATE}}/Foo|...}}.
