System Troubleshooting/Don't cause any more problems

Don't cause any more problems... This belongs with the Don't Break It rule but it relates to "I wonder if I do this what will happen" scenario. When attempting anything you should have a hypothesis about the expected result and look for those results. This will establish experience and help you grow as a troubleshooter. It is alright to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. Frying 10 capacitors in a single lab because you bottomed out the rheostat is not a learning experience.
