SNFO Flight Planning/Situational Awareness Wind Triangle

If this were an ideal world in which to fly, there would be no wind. If the aircraft were set to fly a particular ground track, the aircraft would not be blown off course by wind. The aircraft's ground speed would also be equal to its true airspeed, but as we have seen, this is not usually the case. The one element that affects ground speed and track is the effects of wind.
