      Food

      1. ਰੋਟੀ(ਫ਼ੁਲਕਾ or ਚਪਾਤੀ) = Flattened pan cake (cooked in tandoor, a special oven or a flat pan)
      2. ਪਰਾਂਠਾ = A special ਰੋਟੀ cooked with ghee (clarified butter) and usually stuffed
      3. ਨਾਨ = Naan bread
      4. ਦਾਲ = A dish made from pulses specially lentils.
      5. ਸਬਜ਼ੀ = Vegetable (also a vegetable dish)
      6. ਸਾਗ = A dish made from the mustard stems.
      7. ਚੂਰੀ = Scrambled ਰੋਟੀ treated with butter and sugar

      Sweets

      1. ਜਲੇਬੀ = Orange sweet
      2. ਲੱਡੂ = Orange sweet made from gram flour
      3. ਬਰਫੀ = Indian sweet made from paneer
      4. ਪੇਠਾ = Pumpkin in syrup
