Introduction

One very important part of the Portuguese language is describing possession. This should be learned step-by-step. In portuguese, each person has four variants, the possessive pronous varies not only with the subject but also with the object.

First Person

That is, when somthing is mine.

Subject: me

Object: male singular > meu; male plural > meus; female singular > minha; female plural > minhas.
