Bird flu viruses usually do not infect humans. But, there were cases of some highly infectious types causing serious airway disease in humans. In most cases, infected people have contacted with infected birds or with objects contaminated by their stools. But, the people worry that the virus may change to become more easily spreadable between humans, raising the possibility of an influenza overall outbreak.
