Egalitarian approach edit

Most nurses have some exposure to nursing theory in their training. There are so many theorists worthy of our attention, that many nurses adopt an egalitarian or fusion approach to deal with the overwhelming swampiness of nursing schools of thought. In other words, nurses usually draw from theory rather than subscribe to a particular theorist. For example, many nurses tend to prefer unity theorists or an atomistic approach and study those which suit them best.

Florence Nightingale edit

Florence Nightingale

Florence is generally considered to be the mother of modern nursing. Her published ideas about nursing are examples of early theorizing.
