What Is Neuroscience?Edit

Neuroscience is the study of the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the nervous system. Its aim is to understand and predict things that have their roots in the nervous system, namely emotions, reflexes, choices and memory.

Who Uses Neuroscience?Edit

Many health care professionals require knowledge of the nervous system to performs their daily jobs. There are many diseases that originate in the nervous system, for instance Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Autism, and Multiple Sclerosis. In addition to normal health care professional, professional neurologists and psychologists require extensive knowledge of the nervous system in order to diagnose and treat various neurological disorders.
