      Online Test Preparation

To prepare for the GRE, there are several free, no-hassle websites and apps available which offer excellent content and practice materials.

      • sTutor for GRE - An excellent app for Android phones to help with your vocabulary. The content is really good and it adjusts to your skill level.
      • number2.com: An excellent free resource that adjusts to your skill level. Although this website tailors to the SAT, ACT, and GRE tests, the content is quite good.
      • PowerPrep: The official practice tests from ETS, the company that develops and administers the GRE test. You need to fill out a brief survey for statistical purposes, after which you can download the program. Unfortunately, the program is available for only IBM computers.
      • MyGRETutor: A website solely for the preparation for the GRE. Similar in scope to Number2.com and the PowerPrep software, except there are more questions and additional full-length practice tests.
      • Magoosh GRE Blog: A blog with free GRE practice questions and advice written by experts from Magoosh GRE Prep.
      • Greenlight Test Prep - Greenlight Test Prep combines hundreds of high-quality GRE prep videos with a step-by-step study guide to make your GRE preparation as effortless as possible.
