Français : le Néré, de son scientifique Parkia biglobosa est une espèce appartement à la famille des mimosaceae. ses fruits, de couleur noire sont des gousses renfermant des graines de même couleur recouverte d'une amande ou une pulpe jaune. ses graines sont très employées dans la fabrication de la moutarde locale en Afrique subsaharienne communément appelée Afiti ou Tchotou.
