English: Anatomically accurate illustration of the human extraocular muscles. Top-left) Front view. Top-right) Side view. Bottom) While for the right eye the muscles are depicted, for the left eye the muscle paths are represented as colored strings, surrounded by a wire-frame mesh. Different colors represent different muscles: Green - Lateral Rectus; Red - Medial Rectus; Cyan - Superior Rectus; Pink - Inferior Rectus; Dark Blue - Superior Oblique; Yellow - Inferior Oblique. The x/y/z-axes point right, forward, and up, respectively. The drawings were made by Robert Hoerantner, using the software package SEE-KID (http://www.see-kid.at/).
