Development Cooperation Handbook/The video resources linked to this handbook

In the Vrinda Project, we have uses extensively videos as a means to understand and communicate the cultural context of cooperation activities and to bring out the human element of development work. In these videos, we also share the "backstage" of our team while they work, debates among development actors, and various opinions, approaches and interpretations of people involved in cooperation work.

How we produced the videos linked to this handbook development

We have shared the videos on YouTube TVP Channel and on Wikimedia Commons, under a Creative Commons License: in this way, project stakeholders can freely utilize and share the video footage with others or partners. Their feedback helps us edit the video footage and link stories and testimonials on development issues that are tackled in this handbook.

The Italian State Television (RAI1) has been a partner of this project. Two journalists of RAI1 traveled with us to project locations. We introduced them to cooperation projects and facilitated their interactions with project stakeholders. The Kautilya Society team independently collected additional audio-visual documentation and shared it with the RAI1 colleagues. On the basis of this footage, RAI 1 produced 5 short reportages (TV7 programme) and a one-hour reportage for TG1 Speciale (see below for more details).

After having been broadcast on RAI1, the copyright of all audio-visual resources belongs exclusively to this project that is taking the initiative forward.

I'd like to see the opinions of the local stakeholders, not the stories of the reporters - Lucas Lai
