Developing A Universal Religion/Why Bother?
This chapter attempts to answer some of the questions skeptics may raise. It suggests a few philosophical reasons why we should develop a universal purpose, why we should base it upon supporting the achievement of life’s possible endpoint, and why we should make this effort. Other, more practical, reasons for developing a universal purpose are presented in the next chapter.
