Plantain pudding is a Nigerian steamed savory pudding. It is prepared similarly to moin moin but using unripe plantain instead of beans.

- Unripe plantain, peeled and diced
- Pepper
- Fresh tomatoes
- Salt
- Seasoning cubes
- Ground crayfish
- Vegetable oil
Procedure edit
- Blend the plantain pieces until smooth.
- Blend in the pepper and tomatoes until smooth.
- Stir in salt, seasoning cubes, and ground crayfish to taste.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
- Transfer the batter into a greased mold, such as a small bowl or tin.
- Heat a small amount of water in a large pot.
- Place the filled mold in the pot, cover, and let steam for several minutes.
- Unmold the cooked pudding, and serve alone or with pap, sauce, or grilled fish.
