We will write a section on Yahoo! because of the attempted takeover by Microsoft with a view to competition with Google.
Yahoo! is important because it owns Flickr and Flickr has recently begun accepting video clips...
At the time of writing events are moving rapidly and it is only to be expected that whatever is written here will need to be updated.
What is also needed is our very own history mechanism for this entry to track the historical change. Let us see how this might be done?

Pick you favorite online newspaper which is open source oriented and see what is going on. For example searching with

will bring up reports such as "Yahoo proxy fight is on, courtesy Carl Icahn", May 15, 2008.
Notice the inclusion of the date. This is a part of the history marker.
