Definition of the Fibonacci sequence:

 $F_n = \frac{1}{\sqrt{5}} (\phi^n - \hat{\phi}^n), \quad n \in \mathbb{Z}, \quad \phi = \frac{1+\sqrt{5}}{2}, \hat{\phi} = \frac{1-\sqrt{5}}{2}$ (2)
