The Queen makes way for the f4-pawn, so now f4 and then f5 is threatened, moving the King, which then allows White to take on d5. However Black has a number of resources, either by preventing f5 or by making a diversion on the Queenside.

A better response is simply 10.O-O! an idea of Pincus. White is much better here by at least +/-. Just crunch with a strong computer. Black is busted.
