CAT-Tools/AnyMem

AnyMem is another example of CAT-Tools, with all the most common features, seen in other CAT-Tools. AnyMem supports Unicode and can work with any language pair without the need of external components, like .NET Framework or Java Virtual Machine, commonly required by other translation memory software. AnyMem supports TMX import and export, and can build a translation memory from any bilingual Microsoft Word file.

AnyMem was designed for freelance translators and translation agencies, who would not invest into more expensive CAT-Tools.
