The Rob Roy is a cocktail similar to a Manhattan but made with Scotch whiskey and sweet vermouth instead of rye whiskey.

Ingredients

• 1½ ozs. (45 ml) Scotch Whisky
• 1 oz. (25 ml) sweet vermouth
• dash Angostura bitters

Garnish

Maraschino cherry

Glass

Cocktail glass

Procedure

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
2. Add bitters, scotch and vermouth and stir.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnished with a Maraschino cherry.
4. Serve.
