Long vowels: aa, ii, uu
Short vowels: a, i, u
Tanwiin:ân (indicates an alif after the tanwiin) /ań (indicates no alif after the tanwiin),
iń,uń

Taa'uń Marbuutžätuń: ä
Alifuń/Yaa'uń Maksuurätuń: aà

uu with a silent Alif after:uù

Hamzätuń: '

Possessive adjectives are separated by a dash from the word they are a suffix of.
e.g. kitaabu-ka, kitaabu-haa
The exception is the first-person singular which does not take a dash. Instead its second "i" is written with a circumflex.

kitaabiî OR kitaabîya (depending on pronunciation)
